• PAC operates stably at a pH range of 7.2 - 7.6, so heavy metal ions will precipitate and sink to the bottom. 
• Direct use of Poly Aluminum Chloride coagulant will reduce corrosion of equipment. 
• PAC has the ability of dissolving in water at any ratio, the sedimentation efficiency is many times higher than use of alum, about 4-5 times, and the flocculation time is extremely fast. 
• The dosage of PAC chemicals used is extremely low, the floc is large and easily settles, and the operations are simple without the need for supporting equipment. 

3. Use of PAC for effective swimming pool water treatment

During the swimming pool operation, to ensure safety for everyone, the water source needs to be regularly treated with specialized chemicals such as PAC. We hereinafter will provide detailed instructions on the use of Poly Aluminum Chloride chemicals to clean swimming pools, specifically: 

Step 1: Clean and sanitize the pool surface

First, before starting to treat and disinfect water with PAC chemicals, you must clean all swimming pool surface areas. You can use a trash racket with an aluminum pole to clean all the leaves out of the lake. Next, use a brush to clean the entire tank wall and then continue to vacuum them clean with a suction cup. 

Step 2: Re-determine the chemical concentration to use

First, customers should recheck chemical concentrations and pH levels with a water test kit to determine the current condition of the water source in the swimming pool. Then continue to compare directly with the table below to identify criteria that cannot be met and handle them. 

In which: 

• pH concentration: If the pH concentration of the water in your swimming pool is higher than the standard level, you can use 32% HCl Acid to balance it. In case the pH concentration is lower than the standard level, you can use additional balancing soda powder. 
• Hard Calcium level in water: If the hard Calcium level is >400ppm, the pool water will be turbid, polluted and unusable. Everyone must take PAC to treat pool water according to the prescribed dosage for quick and effective treatment. 
• Total amount of alkalinity in water: Total amount of alkalinity in water >200ppm will also make the water in the lake turbid, Chlorine chemical should be used in appropriate dosage to treat it. 

Step 3: Sedimentation treatment in swimming pool area

After treating the swimming pool water to a balanced state, customers must proceed with sedimentation treatment with PAC chemicals. Accordingly, dilute Poly Aluminum Chloride into a 5 - 10% solution and pour it into the pool when treatment and disinfection is needed. When supplying swimming pool water, the chemical content is calculated for 1m3 of water to be used as follows: 

• Use 1 - 4g/m3 PAC for water sources with low turbidity and pollution from 50 - 400 mg/l. 
• Use 5 - 6g/m3 PAC for water with an average turbidity of about 500 - 700 mg/l. 
• Use 7 - 10g/m3 of PAC chemicals to treat swimming pool water with high turbidity from 800 - 1200 mg/l. 

Immediately after spreading the chemical solution evenly on the swimming pool surface, customers only have to wait 4 - 8 hours for it to take full effect. 

Step 4: Vacuum the trash and clean the swimming pool with specialized tools

Once the dirt inside the swimming pool has settled, you need to quickly vacuum and clean the bottom and sides of the pool. The specialized cleaning equipment that needs to be used until now is a suction table, flexible pipes, aluminum poles and long-handled trash rackets,... 

Step 5: Turn on the circulating filtration system, ending the water treatment process

The final step to complete the process of using PAC to treat pool water is to turn on the water filtration system. After that, this system will filter all remaining dirt inside the swimming pool area.
